Current Committees My Values and Beliefs I believe in ensuring a safe and positive environment at the school and in high academic standards for all students. I believe bilingualism is something to which we should aspire for every student. I believe in the incredible power of extra-curricular activities whether they are athletic, academic or social in nature. I want every child who attends this school to receive a world-class education that I would want for my own child. I believe in being fair, honest, approachable, and accessible. I believe in leading by example. I believe that we can accomplish much more together than on our own. I believe that parents, staff and the community are partners in education and that all have important contributions to learning and to the success of the school. I believe in teaching children about cooperation but also about the value of healthy competition and how to win or lose with grace. Finally, I believe very strongly that the development of character and values such as leadership, perseverance and citizenship in our students is key for helping them succeed in life.
