Dear Parent(s) and Guardian(s),
The Ministry of Education is allowing for students to be exempt from school in exceptional cases. This exemption is for medically vulnerable students, or for students who live with a medically vulnerable family member. All requests for an exemption must be accompanied by a certificate from a medical physician.
Students who are granted an exemption will have access to remote learning as coordinated by the Western Québec School Board.
- Parents seeking an exemption from school (and access to remote learning) must:
- Complete the Medical Exemption Form and return to wqstudentexemption@wqsb.qc.ca;
- Provide a medical certificate from a physician, recommending an exemption from school
