Policy regarding food sharing and Public Health guidelines regarding items brought from home.

    Dear Parents/Guardians,

We are writing this letter to remind/inform you of the school policy regarding food sharing and the Public Health guidelines regarding items brought from home.

Parents have asked about bringing in treats to share with classes for Halloween. Our regular school policy remains in affect. Due to food allergies and dietary restrictions, students are not permitted to bring food items in to share with classmates. This includes Halloween treats. Parents have also inquired about providing non-food items to students for Halloween. Unfortunately, Public Health guidelines do not permit student to bring in items from home to share with/hand out to other students.

Teachers have received requests about distributing birthday invitations. Unfortunately, Public Health guidelines do not permit student to bring in items from home to share with/hand out to other student.

Thank you for your understanding and support. Please do not hesitate to contact us should you have any questions.

    Eldon Keon, Principal

    Julia Horner, Vice-Principal
