1. Download the app onto your smartphone.
The app is available for free from the App Store for iPhone users, and from the Google Play Store for Android devices.
There are 2 simple ways to download the app:
- By searching ‘Western Quebec’ or ‘WQSB’ in the App Store or Google Play, and tapping the Get or Install button;
- By visiting westernquebec.ca/app from your smartphone, tapping either the Google Play or App Store button, and tapping the Get or Install button.
Please note that a free Apple or Google account is required to install any app onto a device.
2. Set it up to receive notifications
When the WesternQC app is first opened after it is downloaded, it may ask permission to send notifications. Tap Allow or Accept. Then, in the list, tick the box next to each school for which notifications should be sent, and finally tap the blue Continue button.
