Good Morning L.A. Community,

We hope this email finds you well after a relaxing weekend. We have a short but important update today, please see below.

Spring Cake Raffle

      • Another Cake Raffle is upon us; help support our Grade 6 L.A. graduates!

    Re-Registration 2024-2025

        • Please find attached the Re-Registration Letter from our Director General for the 2024-2025 school year.

        • Additionally, please find attached the Mozaik Portal Guide to assist you in completing this process.

        • The deadline to complete the re-registration is March 28th, 2024.

      2024-2025 Four-Year-Old Kindergarten Registration Process

          • Due to the limited number of spaces in the K4 program (17), registrations for K4 will be determined by a “lottery system”. 

          • All completed registrations were to be received by March 1, 2024.

          • All K4 registrations have been contacted by Karen Comfort with their associated lottery number.

          • On March 25, 2024, Lord Aylmer will hold the lottery.  At 8:30am we will be drawing seventeen (17) numbers to determine the students who will be registered for the 2024-2025 K4 program. 

          • An additional eight (8) numbers will be drawn for our waiting list, to be used if one of the allocated spots becomes available before the start of the school year.

        Kindergarten Open House @ L.A.

            • Save the Date – L.A.’s Kindergarten Open House will be May 17, 2024. Please see the attached fliers for more information.

            • For more information regarding your child’s transition to school, please visit the following website – www.wqsbtransitions.com

            • On Thursday, April 18, 2024 – WQSB will be hosting a session for all parent(s)/guardian(s) of students who are attending Kindergarten in 2024-2025. Please see the attached flier “Family Resources Series 2”. You must register for the event.

          Reminder – Symmes Open House –

              • Symmes JR High will be holding it’s Open House for all parent(s)/guardian(s) on March 27, 2024, from 6:00pm – 7:00pm.

              • Address – 925 boul. du Plateau, Gatineau (QC) J9J 3G2.

            Grade 6 Graduation Date –

                • Confirmed, grade 6 graduation will take place on June 19, 2024

                • RAIN DATE – June 20, 2024
