Hello everyone,
Since 2019, several schools have asked the Mazzola catering service to avoid including single use utensils in the meals ordered. This initiative not only helps the environment, but also encourages children to be responsible for bringing their reusable utensils from home.
In response to new Canadian regulations on the manufacture and importation for sale of various single-use plastics which have been prohibited since December 20, 2022, Mazzola will no longer include single-use utensils in order bags for all schools and catering starting February 1, 2023.
