A Partnership Between Lord Aylmer and Greater Gatineau Elementary Schools
Open to All Parents and Staff of the Western Quebec School Board
Dear Parents / Guardians and Members of Staff:
We are excited to welcome back Dr. Nadia Grenier to further support our parent community, staff as we work together to support our children. Dr. Nadia Gagnier is a bilingual clinical psychologist who is regularly called upon in the French media for her expertise. She is also a popular presenter who works with numerous school boards and various parent groups to promote a better understanding of mental health. Earlier in the year, our parents were invited to attend her workshop on anxiety in children. In March, she provided professional development to our teachers on the same topic and the feedback was overwhelmingly positive. Dr. Grenier will be presenting two more virtual parent sessions focusing on:
· The Development of Self-esteem in Children: May 16th from 6:00 PM to 8PM Recorded Session (link available until June 16)
· Preventing Internet Addiction Among Young People: May 30, 2022 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM Recorded Session (link available until July 1)
The presentations will be approximately an hour and 30 minutes in length followed by a 30-minute question and answer session. Please do not hesitate to contact us if you have any questions regarding the session.
Respectfully,
Eldon Keon, Principal – Lord Aylmer School
Val Link, Principal – Greater Gatineau Elementary School
