Dear Lord Aylmer Families,
I am writing to share an important leadership update within our school community. Our Vice-Principal, Mr. Wouda, has accepted a Principal position at Namur Elementary and Intermediate School!
While his time with us was brief, we want to express our heartfelt gratitude to Mr. Wouda for his dedication, energy, and commitment to Lord Aylmer. He quickly became a wonderful partner to our staff and a positive presence for our students, and we wish him all the very best as he takes this exciting next step in his career.
We recognize that change can naturally bring questions, but please be reassured that the caring, supportive, and vibrant culture we have built at Lord Aylmer remains as strong as ever. That foundation will continue to guide us as we prepare to welcome a new Vice-Principal into our school community.
As Principal, my priority is ensuring calm, stability, and consistency so that our students continue to receive the absolute best care and education every single day.
Here is what you can expect during this transition:
- Timeline: The transition process will take place over this week and next.
- Hiring Process: The posting for the Vice-Principal position will be released later today to begin the search for our next administrator.
- Next Steps: Daily learning routines and student supports will continue seamlessly. I will keep our community updated as the hiring process progresses. For now, please continue to follow the administrative dossiers prescribed at the beginning of the year, as Mr. Wouda is still involved in the daily functioning of L.A.
