Staff Appreciation Week
- THANK YOU L.A. STAFF!
- Please help us in thanking and appreciating the hard working staff of Lord Aylmer!
- This week we are celebrating each and every staff member that works at L.A.
- Our Home & School Association are working closely with Hannah and I to treat our staff all throughout this week!
- We encourage you to send along your thanks and appreciation to our staff.
March Break
- A reminder that March Break is next week – March 5 – March 9, 2024.
- There is no school and Daycare Services are closed.
Lost & Found
- Our Lost & Found is growing at both campuses.
- This week, our Lost & Found will be available in the front lobby of both campuses.
- Please stop by and check out our Lost & Found
- After this week, the remaining items will be collected and sent in for donation where applicable.
Symmes Open House –
- Symmes JR High will be holding it’s Open House for all parent(s)/guardian(s) on March 27, 2024 from 6:00pm – 7:00pm.

Dental Screening – Grade Two Homerooms
- Please find attached an information letter from CISSSO regarding the Dental Screening Program for all grade two students.
- Please note that this happens across the province of Quebec and is not L.A. specific.
- If you do not wish for your child to participate, you must complete the refusal form and hand in to your child’s homeroom teacher.
- This service will take place between March 12 – March 27, 2024.
Drama Production @ LA – THIS THURSDAY – February 29, 2024.
· Lord Aylmer proudly presents, “Alien Research.” A drama production about aliens who have returned from exploring deserted Earth.
· Come and join us for a night of laughter and support the dedicated actors of Lord Aylmer – February 29, 2024!
· Doors open at 5:45pm, everyone is welcome. It is sure to be a great night!
· No tickets necessary.
· Cash donations will be taken at the front door to support the L.A. Drama program.

Term 2 Reporting Period – REMINDER
- Due to the strike action, the Ministry of Education has announced an extension of the second term reporting period.
- Therefore, the L.A. team has met and the NEW date for second term report cards will be – March 28, 2024. All report cards will be available on the Mozaik Portal on March 28, 2024.
- NEW Family-Teacher meeting dates –
- Evening of April 4, 2024
- Day of April 5, 2024
