Hello, L.A. Community!
Can you believe how quickly this year has flown by? As we wrap up this week, we are officially standing on the threshold of the ultimate home stretch. Next week marks our last full week of classes, and looking back at how far we’ve come, we are filled with immense pride and gratitude for this incredible community.
This final stretch is about so much more than just crossing the finish line. We are gearing up for a week completely packed with energy, joy, and transition. Get ready for:

- Honoring Milestones: Taking the time to recognize the hard work, growth, and achievements of our amazing students.
- Making Core Memories: Soaking in those final, unforgettable moments with friends, teachers, and mentors that we will look back on for years to come.
A Note of Appreciation: To our phenomenal students, dedicated staff, and wonderfully supportive families, thank you. Your energy, resilience, and heart are what make this community so vibrant and unique. You’ve put in the work, and now it’s time to celebrate it.

Last Day of Classes
- Our last official day before summer holidays is June 23, 2026.
Community Friendship Breakfast
- In the spirit of community and celebration, we would like to formally invite our L.A. families to an Outdoor Friendship Breakfast.
- SR Campus – June 15, 2026 – 9:00am – 11:00am – SOCCER FIELD.
- JR Campus – June 16, 2026 – 9:00am – 11:00am. – SOCCER FIELD (left hand side, Kindergarten drop-off).
- Please arrive for 9:00am. We will greet you outside, please do not try to enter through the school.
- Please note that the school will be providing ALL breakfast items – think picnic – croissants, muffins, fruit, yogurt tubes, cheese, veggies etc.
- You’re off the hook – no need to bring any food, it is our pleasure to provide this opportunity for you to share a meal with us 😊.
- If you would like, please bring a picnic blanket to sit on, otherwise, grass it is!
- Please also bring reusable plates, cups, and cutlery.
- Please note that you will be required to SIGN-IN and OUT with your child’s homeroom teacher. We will be keeping a record of who came to join us and who was on school premises.
- INCLEMENT WEATHER PLAN
- You will join your child in their classroom.
- The spread of food will be set up in the gymnasium on the date of the event.
- Each class will be called down one by one to get a plate.
- You will eat with your child in their classroom.
REMINDER – Grade Six Graduation Information
- WHEN: Thursday, June 18, 2026
- Ceremony begins at 12:30 p.m. sharp
- Families may begin arriving at 12:00 p.m.
- Upon arrival, please proceed directly to the Gymnasium.

- Lord Aylmer Senior Campus Gymnasium
- SEATING & GUIDELINES:
- Graduates will be seated in a designated section.
- Guests are asked not to sit in reserved areas or cross designated boundaries before or during the ceremony.
- There is no limit on the number of guests, however, space is limited and consideration for others is appreciated.
- Seating will be available for up to three chairs per family.
Additional family members are welcome to attend but may need to stand.
Thank you for your cooperation—we will be relying on the honour system.
- Parking Information:
- Parking will be extremely limited.
- Limited visitor parking (approximately 15 spaces) is available at the SR Campus.
- Once visitor parking is full, families will need to park on adjacent side streets.
- The lower parking lot at the SR Campus is reserved for Lord Aylmer and Western Quebec Career Centre staff – please do not park in this area.
- Additional Information:
- The ceremony is expected to last approximately one hour (please allow for some flexibility).
- There will be no formal reception following the ceremony; however, opportunities for photographs will be available afterward.
REMINDER – IMPORTANT – LAST DAY OF PM DAYCARE June 22, 2026
- PM Daycare Services will end on June 22, 2026
- AM daycare will be offered on the morning of June 23, 2026.
- PM Daycare WILL NOT be offered on June 23, 2026.
- Please plan accordingly.
REMINDER – Five-Year-Old Kindergarten Graduation
- WHEN: June 19, 2026
- TIME: 12:30pm (arrival)
- CEREMONY: 12:45pm sharp
- WHERE: JR Campus in the field on the left-hand side of the school.
- BYOC: This event is a Bring Your Own Chair event.
- Please find a flyer attached with all necessary details.
IMPORTANT – Flying Squirrel Consent Form (Grade 6 Graduation Trip) – June 16, 2026
- For students to participate in the Flying Squirrel trip, a signed waiver is required. Please note that this waiver is in addition to the school permission form.
- To help verify completion, the school will be sharing the names and birthdates of participating students with Flying Squirrel.
